I was thinking about my blog and how I haven't had much desire to write anything as of late. I came to this shocking conclusion that my whole life is like this right now. I have no desire to do anything. I have no motivation what so ever. If I could not get out of my pajamas everyday I would so do it.
Before anyone jumps to any of their own conclusions I'm not depressed. I'm not crying all day in a corner. I'm not going to jump off a bridge or anything. I laugh a lot...daily.
I'm just really unmotivated right now.
I use to love going to school. I was all about some hair. Now I sit in the breakroom all day and hide. That is if I don't leave halfway through the day or take really really long lunches.
I use to love having craft time with Gage and craft time for myself. I'm afraid to open the boxes that contain said craft supplies. I might sneeze to death from all the dust.
I'm going to blame Winter. I think I just work better in the Summer.
I don't really know whats wrong with me but I do know 2 things.
1. I need a fire lit underneath me.
2. I just wrote a complete blog entry! Go me.

I get the same way, I think it is post Christmas blues and winter blues mixed all into one. Hope you get your mojo back soon!
ReplyDeletei will be feeling the way you do right now until the end of february. it's an annual thing... i always push through, but it is hard for me to get anything done when it's cold outside. i swear my brain is frozen. :)
ReplyDeleteAgree with the two above. That and the winter blahs. Thought that thing about sitting in the breakroom instead of going to school.....
ReplyDeleteYay for the post! :) And I have had those phases where I have zero motivation to do anything. Don't worry, you'll pull yourself out, you have amazing motivation, it's just hibernating right now! :)
ReplyDeleteI think that we all have those days where we just don't seem to get out of the pajamas. My dad says that winter makes him down because of the lack of sun. He started going to the tanning beds once every week or two and said that that really helped out a lot to get the 'rays' he was missing.
