Vlad

I happen to not be such a fan of dogs. I can handle little dogs maybe even medium size dogs(or not). I am pretty terrified of bigger type dogs, though. I don't know. It probably has a lot to do with being chased by a pack of stray dogs when I was little. Could be. Who really knows. Not a fan of most dogs. Lets just leave it at that.

So, a friend of mine has this dog. A bigger German Shepherd-y kind of dog. That is nice isn't? Well, no. Actually, it is not nice at all. Weren't you paying attention? Not a fan of dogs.

I know it is not the dogs fault that I am not a big fan of dogs but we are going to call that STRIKE 1 against the dog for just being a dog.

I was spending quite a bit of time at my friends house(who may or may not have a cute boy!) and that also meant I spent quite a bit of time with the dog. I was starting to warm up to the wittle puppy. I would even go as far to say that I was actually starting to like this dog. I rubbed his wittle belly sometimes. I cuddled with him on the couch. etc etc.

That was until...

He ate my earrings! What kind of dog does that? New earrings at that! STRIKE 2

So time went on and the wittly puppy got on my good side again. He should have stayed there. We had a good thing going on. I forgave him about eating my earrings and then...

The little stink ate my shoes! My black flats that I used for school! Ruuuined. STRIKE 3.

I don't know how many strikes it takes for me to just stop thinking that me and this dog will ever get along but I was pretty well there when he ate my shoes.

A few nights ago I was going to visit my friend with the dog and before I went I did a wardrobe check. I had on a black school shirt, old jeans, cute cardigan with lace(I almost took it off), and red shoes. Besides the lacey cardigan I figured the only other thing would be my red shoes. They look yummy to me so I thought the dog might think they were yummy.

I was wrong(which is a good thing). He really didn't think anything I had on was yummy. He thought I was yummy! He kept jumping on me and jumping on me(HELLO! SCARED OF BIG JUMPING DOGS HERE!). I thought he was going to try to eat me! Instead of taking a bite out of me his sharp little puppy nails ripped my black shirt! Can you believe that?

I don't have any luck with that dog. We were just not meant to get along.

me + dogs = not a fan. bad times.

  1. Awwww!!! That stinks!! Dogs can get so excited that they can't control themselves. We had people over for new year's and I had to stay in the kitchen with our dog to make sure he didn't bother the guests who didn't like dogs. And our dog wasn't even jumping around! He just sniffed, but I kept him away nonetheless because I knew it scared our friends!

I think the big dogs don't realize just how big they are!! They think they're small dogs! LOL! I know ours does for sure!

  2. I've been bitten by little dogs more than big dogs. I have a kennel that I keep in the family room. I put the dogs inside it when we have company. That or put them in one of the bedrooms. No one likes to be jumped on by a big dog!

  3. Good grief! I have a big dog, I promise you would love her. She doesn't eat anything besides dog food.
